On Saturday 12th January 2019 I went for a look at the Queensland Warbirds and Vintage Aircraft Association (QWVAA) fly-in afternoon at Watts Bridge Airfield. Unfortunately it coincided with the Evans Head Great Eastern Fly-In, so no only one warbird and no vintage aircraft were in attendance. The warbird was a Nachang CJ-6A out of Lismore, other sightings were an ex-RAAF CT/4A, a Piper PA-30 Twin Comanche, a Cessna 170A and a Best Off Nynja.
Nice to meet a few members of QWVAA and have a chat about flying, Watts Bridge airfield, aircraft in general and photography in a nice rural setting, a very relaxing afternoon.
