On Sunday 10th November 2019 I ventured to Brisbane Airport primarily to catch a Qantas Boeing 747 on its way for a round trip to view the Antarctic continent. It is now rare to see a 747 flying out of Brisbane since the regular Qantas LAX service was changed to use Boeing 787 aircraft, with the 747 nearing end of service with Qantas. I got some good shots of the Qantas 747 VH-OEI in "Go Wallabies" Rugby World Cup livery. Other notables on the morning were Toll Aviation Boeing 737-484(SF) ZK-TLL, a Regional Express Saab 340B that are not common at Brisbane, and a beautiful privately owned Cassna Citation Sovereign 680, my first Citation photographed. Nice weather, a queen of the skies (B747), some other nice aircraft and company of some mates made for a very nice morning, with primary objective achieved.
