20200322-MMPI0063 - Brisbane Airport
Sundey 22nd March 2020 saw me venture once again to Brisbane Airport, in search of a fifth of the 14 Etihad Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners in special livery. This time it was A6-BLH in "ADNOC - Choose Italy" livery, the second of their aircraft I've seen in this livery. The gold fuselage looks great in the late afternoon light, with them arriving just before sunset at this time of year. I bagged a couple more Virgin Australia and Qantas Boeing 737s I haven't photographed before, as well as some more QantasLink Bombardier Q400s. Before the light disappeared I slipped by the logistics tarmac for the Hi Fly Airbus A340 and a Virgin Australia A330 that was being parked up at this early stage of the Coronavirus pandemic. After that a quick trip over to the taxiway Papa area for some sunset shots of a pair of Alliance Airways Fokker F70/F100s, a Toll Aviation Boeing 737 and a Pacific Air Express Boeing 757 in nice golden light. With the onset of the Coronavirus affecting personal movement and lack of aircraft to photograph, this may well be my last outing for several months, although I sincerely hope it over quickly so we can all get back to some semblance of normality.
