On the weekend of 29-31 October 2021 Caboolture Airfield saw a gathering of de Havilland owners celebrating the 90th anniversary of the first flight of the iconic DH.82 Tiger Moth. I attended on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. There were a good collection of very nicely-presented DH.82 Toger Moths, DH.60 Gispy/Metal Moths and DHC-1 Chipmunks. This was a meetup and not an flying display, and since many of the attendees were from Caboolture there were limited opportunities for in-flight shots. It was really nice to meet some of the owners and chat about the history of their very nicely presented antique planes and get close to some beautiful old machines.
