20190127-MMPI0053 - Mount Glorious
On Sunday 27th January 2019 I ventured to Maiala Picnic Grounds, Mt Glorious, Queensland, Australia. Starting at sunrise, I was greeted by bird calls, as well as a pair of Russet-tailed Thrushes throwing leaf litter around in the car park looking for worms and bugs. A female Satin Bowerbird was seen feeding on red fruit on a palm tree, and an ever-enjoyable Eastern Yellow Robin showed up for the obligatory model shoot. Other birds I didn't manage to get usable shots of included a trio of Noisy Pitta, a family of Eastern Whipbird, Yellow-throated and White-browed Scrubwrens, Wonga Pigeon, Wompoo Fruit-dove, Topnot Pigeon, Grey Shrike-thrush and a pair of domestic Chickens.
