On Thursday 25th April 2019 I went for a short birding outing at Prior's Pocket, near Moggill, Queensland, Australia. Dull lighting and not many birds made for a quiet morning photographically. Main highlights were female Red-backed Fairywrens calling from top of nearby shrubs, a pair of beautiful Crested Pigeons preening one another and a Black-shouldered Kite perching atop a Causarina tree. Unfortunately as I got closer to the Kite a UAV drone appeared and the Kite took flight so I didn't get closer shots of this magnificent bird.
