20190803-MMPI0053 - Springfield Lakes

On Saturday 3rd August 2019 I returned to Springfield Lakes to meet up with a birding mate and a couple of his friends, hoping to catch another glimpse of the rare Regent Honeyeater pair that had been frequenting the site. No sighting of the guests of honour, so turned my attention to the more common residents so as not to go home with nothing. Got some nice shots of Pacific Black Ducks, and an Australasian Grebe in nice morning light.
