Saturday 16th may 2020 saw me venture out to Oxley Creek Common at sunrise. Today was mainly about Fairy-wrens as I didn't get close to many other birds this morning. That certainly isn't a bad thing, these lovely little birds are wonderful to watch. While I didn't get shots of the Variegated species, at one place I sat down I saw all three of Brisbane's species (Red-backed, Superb and Variegated) in a short period. At the same spot, the resident Willie Wagtail let me get some close-up shots while it partolled its territory and caught a few insects that tried to pass through.
