On Sunday 24th October 2021 I visited Prior's Pocket near Moggill, Queensland, Australia. I didn't get close to many birds this morning, but one I did get near was a male Golden-headed Cisticola (Cisticola exilis) that kept returning to the highest branch on a small shrub to sing beautifully. The little fellow cared little about me shooting madly a few metres away and I was able to move to get a clean blue sjy to really show off beautiful his golden breeding plumage. I left happy with some great keepers on the card. Earlier, an Australasian Darter (Anhinga novaehollandiae) landed in a tree high above the Brisbane River and posed nicely for me, at one stage extending its long neck to see what I was up to. One other bird I captured was a male Australasian Figbird (Sphecotheres vieilloti) that was feeding on the fruit of a Lantana bush.
